Yarn Spun Tapes is a Philadelphia, PA based, cassette focused label. Our main focus is creating high quality cassette tapes for artists. All cassettes are recorded at real-time in Philadelphia on Recording The Masters RTM900 tape, cut to your project specifications. We also design and print custom J-cards and labels for your cassettes. Yarn Spun Tapes can provide other recording, mixing, mastering, and marketing services to bands and musicians; we look to tailor each deal to the needs of the artist.

Our first official release - "To Die, To Come Back, To Die" by Stone Cold Grace. Released April 8th, 2026.
Stone Cold Grace is the pseudonym of indie folk singer/songwriter Sara Johnson. Compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Patti Griffin and Allegra Krieger, Johnson weaves intricate stories of love, loss and becoming into delicately crafted songs. She resides in Philadelphia and is active in the local music scene there.
